Volusia County Catholic Schools are dedicated to providing students with a challenging and rewarding curriculum that meets or exceeds Diocesan and Florida Common Core Standards. Our highly qualified faculty and Florida certified teaching staff are dedicated to inspiring students to reach their full potential in academic proficiency, spiritual growth, and social development. Students are immersed in a well-rounded academic program that prepare them with the problem solving and leadership skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Students receive comprehensive instruction in core subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies. In addition to these subjects, Volusia Catholic schools offer a variety of enrichment courses that complete their education. Enrichment courses include:
- Physical Education
- Computer Science
- Communication Arts
Middle schools and high schools also provide students with opportunities for advanced level coursework. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows students to have one-on-one instruction with teachers.
Volusia Catholic schools use the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) to evaluate their students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Students in Volusia Catholic schools consistently score high on state and national standards for the test.
